New Delhi railway station to be rejuvenated, 9 companies including Adani and GMR bid

new Delhi. Nine global and domestic companies have bid for redevelopment of New Delhi Railway Station. Railways gave this information on Wednesday. The companies that have made bids include Adani Railways Transport, ISQ Asia Infrastructure Investments (ISQ Asia Infrastructure Investments) and GMR Highways.

RFQ opened on Wednesday
Apart from this, Anchorage Infrastructure Investments Holdings Ltd., Kalpataru Power Transmission, BIF Char India Infrastructure Holding, Omaxe Ltd. And Alpis Ventures also participated in the Request for Quotation (RFQ). A statement issued by the Railway Land Development Authority said that the RFQ (Request for Quotation) was opened on Wednesday.

The statement said that now these companies will have to go through the process of technical assessment. In the next phase, the Railway Land Development Authority will draw a request for Proposal for the selected companies.

Development of New Delhi Railway Station is a major project of RLDA. It will cost 68 million dollars. This project will be developed on the design-build-finance-operational-transfer (DBFOT) model.

Economic growth will be encouraged in NCR
Ved Prakash Dudeja, Vice Chairman, Railway Land Development Authority said, “This is our flagship project and it will give a boost to economic growth in NCR.” Many national and international stakeholders have shown interest in this project.
