Let us know that due to the breaking of the iceberg in Rishi Ganga valley in Chamoli district on Sunday morning, Alaknanda and its tributaries suddenly got flooded. As soon as the news of the glacier breaking came in the morning, teams of NDRF, ATBP, SDRF were rushed to the spot for rescue operation. Uttarakhand Director General of Police (DGP) Ashok Kumar told that about 50-100 people are missing after the flood. Two bodies have been found in the rescue operation and some injured have been rescued. He said that the situation is under control.
