Ingredients for making onion kachori
2- Tea spoon coriander
1- tsp oil
1/2 tsp asafoetida
3- tsp gram flour
1 1/2 tsp kashmiri red chilli powder
1- tsp black salt
1 1/2 tsp chaat masala
1/2 tsp garam masala
2 to 3 medium onions, sliced
2 to 3 – Green Chillies
4- Potatoes (boiled)
200 grams – All purpose flour
1/2 tsp carom seeds
Salt to taste
5-6 tsp oil
How to make onion kachori
Take a pan first. Now add oil, coriander and asafoetida. Cook it on medium flame for 2 minutes. After this add gram flour, red chili powder, black salt, chaat masala and garam masala and fry it for few minutes. Then add chopped onion, salt and green chillies. Cook the onion till it becomes soft and then add the potatoes and mix everything well. Now let this mixture cool down. To make flour, take refined flour, celery, salt and oil. To make soft dough, mix everything well and add water.

After kneading the dough, cover it with a wet cloth and keep it for half an hour. Now make balls of equal size. Stuff them with onion and potato mixture and roll the kachori with your hands. Keep it thick, so that the mixture does not spread while frying. Fry the raw kachoris on medium-low heat until they turn brown. Now serve it with tamarind chutney.
