PM Modi Assam & WB Visit: Prime Minister Modi will dedicate to the nation a unit of Indian Oil’s Bongaigaon Refinery, Secondary Tank Farm of Oil India Limited at Madhuban in Dibrugarh and a Gas Compressor Station at Hebra Village in Tinsukia.

New Delhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi (PM Narendra Modi) will visit Assam (Assam) and West Bengal (West Bengal) on 22 February 2021 and he will visit the important oil and gas sector at an event organized at Silapathar in Dhemaji, Assam at around 11:30 am. Will dedicate the projects to the nation. During this program, the Prime Minister will also lay the foundation stone and inaugurate engineering colleges. After this, he will inaugurate several railway projects in Hooghly, West Bengal at around 4.30 pm.

According to an official release, Modi will dedicate to the nation a unit of Indian Oil’s Bongaigaon Refinery, Secondary Tank Farm of Oil India Limited at Madhuban in Dibrugarh and a Gas Compressor Station at Hebra Village in Tinsukia. He will also inaugurate Dhemaji Engineering College and lay the foundation stone of Sualkuchi Engineering College.

Prime Minister will inaugurate the expansion of metro railwayAccording to the release, Assam Governor Jagdish Mukhi and Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal and Union Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Dharmendra Pradhan will also be present on the occasion.

The Prime Minister will inaugurate the extension of the metro railway from Noapada to Dakshineswar in West Bengal and will flag off the first metro service on this section.

The total 4.1 km stretch has been constructed at a cost of Rs 464 crore and is fully funded by the Central Government.

Apart from this, Modi will also inaugurate many other railway projects in the state.
