TOI quoted the source as saying – ‘The owner of Central Cinema, where this incident happened, he did not take permission from Rakesh Roshan before releasing the film. So how did the film’s copy reach the theater? ‘ According to the report of the portal, when Rakesh Roshan was asked about this, he said- ‘I have only the rights of Karan-Arjun. I do not understand how the film was released without my permission. My office is looking into this matter.
According to the report, Sheikh Shafiq, the owner of Malegaon’s Central Cinema, said that people get very excited when they see Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan. He said- ‘We have faced such incidents even before. Something similar has happened in cinema halls. He hides the firecrackers in his underwear and brings them inside. They get excited and we have to bear the consequences. The audience here is so stubborn that in spite of the police, they commit such a scandal. This time we managed to save the property, but we do not know what will happen next. For now, we have replaced Ajay Devgan with Karan Arjun. He told that after March last year, due to no release in any movie theater, he was suffering huge losses and that is why he thought to release Karan Arjun.
When the portal called Sheikh and asked how he released the film without Rakesh Roshan’s permission, Shaikh said that he is busy now and will call later. However, Sheikh did not call again.
