The report says that only 45.9 percent of India’s graduates are eligible for a job. This figure has been the lowest in the last three years. It was 46.21 percent in the year 2019-20 and 47.38 percent in the year 2018-19. This time there is a fall of four to three percent. According to the report, the employment potential of women is 46.8 percent as compared to 45.9 percent men. It has been reported in the report that women are the first choice for jobs in India and more women than men are eligible for the job. Keeping in mind the population of qualified and employable human resources of women in India, Indian companies can recruit more women employees this year. If this happens, the problem of gender gap in the job can be eradicated to a great extent.

According to the report, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu and Uttar Pradesh are at the forefront of employing women. Women have got maximum employment in these three states.
