During this time, the police has collected 30 percent more from the challan than in 2019. At the same time, Delhi Special Commissioner of Police (Traffic) Taj Hassan told that, to make people aware, the police campaigned for information about traffic rules. Which led to a decrease in fatal road accident cases in 2020 as compared to 2019.

In 2020, there were so many crore traffic violation cases – According to the report released by Delhi Police, in 2019, 1.05 crore cases were registered in the country’s capital. But despite the lockdown in 2020, 1.38 crore cases were registered. Which is a matter of concern.

Police has challaned so many crores According to the Delhi Police report, in 2019, the police deducted invoices worth Rs 94.07 crore. But in 2020 this amount increased by 30 percent and the police deducted invoices worth Rs 124.16 crore.

Karma in fatal road accident According to the police, there has been a decrease of 19 percent in fatal accidents in 2020 compared to 2019. Let us tell you that in 2019, there were 1,433 fatal road accidents in the country’s capital. While in 2020, these decreased and 1,163 fatal road accidents occurred. Special Commissioner (Traffic) of Delhi Police Taj Hassan said that the main reason for the reduction in fatal road accident has been possible due to the dynamic deployment, road engineering solutions and road safety awareness campaign.
