FPI investors increased investment in Indian market in February
Since the general budget, the stock market continues to boom. These days, investors have moved towards the stock market. Apart from this, foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) have invested Rs 24,965 crore in the Indian markets in February, due to estimates of the rapid growth in the country’s economic growth by various organizations.

In this way, the total investment between February 1 and February 19 has been Rs 24,965 crore. In the previous month, FPI had invested Rs 14,649 crore on a gross basis. Harsh Jain, co-founder and COO of GRO, said, “Various national and international organizations have forecasted high economic growth rate for India in the coming year.”

Prediction will increase rapidly in 2021S Ranganathan, head of research, LKP Securities, said the FPI trend turned positive for the Indian markets, as the IMF predicted India to be the fastest growing major economy in 2021. He hoped that the flow of FPI would be positive next month as well.

In the first five trading sessions of February, a net investment of Rs 12,266 crore has been made in Indian markets. At the same time, in the month of January, a net investment of Rs 14,649 crore was made in Indian markets.
