At the same time, due to reduced demand due to Corona crisis, supply was also cut. The oil supplying countries promised that we will bring the supply to the previous position in January-February 2021, but this has not happened. This has also created problems. However, all Asian countries are pressing for increasing oil production. This is expected to increase oil production. Also, every possible effort is being made to bring petrol and diesel under GST soon.

No change in petrol and diesel prices for two daysIn the national capital Delhi on Tuesday, the price of petrol reached Rs 90.93 and diesel reached Rs 81 per liter. The prices of both have been increased by 35 paise per liter. Earlier, on two days i.e. 21 and 22 February 2021, there was no change in the prices of both fuels. At the same time, petrol in the financial capital of the country today reached Rs 97.34 and diesel Rs 88.44 per liter. Please tell that before the two days remained stable, the prices of both fuels were increased for 12 consecutive days. In the international market, Brent crude oil crossed $ 66 a barrel on Tuesday. In fact, due to the tremendous snowfall in America, the pace of production was reduced.

Petrol has become costlier by Rs 7.22 per liter in 2021
So far in February 2021, the price of petrol has been increased by Rs 4.63 and diesel by Rs 4.84 per liter. At the same time, so far this year, petrol prices have been increased by Rs 7.22 and diesel prices by Rs 7.45. During this time, petrol prices in some areas of Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan also broke the barrier of Rs 100 per liter. These states charge maximum VAT on petrol and diesel. Explain that petrol and diesel prices are different in every state due to local taxes and transportation costs. After severe criticism from the opposition, the Narendra Modi government at the center appealed to the states to cut the local taxes and give benefits to the common people.
