The last three meetings will be in Karnataka
Let me tell you that the news was revealed yesterday that farmer leader Rakesh Tikait will visit five states in March to mobilize support for the ongoing farmers’ agitation against the new agricultural laws of the central government. An official of the Bharatiya Kisan Union (BKU) gave this information on Saturday. The official said that Tikait, the national spokesperson of BKU and a prominent face of the farmers’ movement, will start the tour from March 1. BKU media in-charge Dharmendra Malikane said, “Farmers’ meetings will be held in Uttarakhand, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka and Telangana in March, there will also be two meetings in Uttar Pradesh.” Malik said that there will be two meetings in Rajasthan and three meetings in Madhya Pradesh. The last three meetings will be held in Karnataka on 20, 21 and 22 March.
