Ingredients for making coconut paratha
1 fresh coconut
2 cups all purpose flour
1 cup lukewarm milk
Half cup ghee
2 tablespoons powdered sugar
2 tablespoons semolina
Half a cup of sugar
½ teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon Green Cardamom (ground powder)
Method of preparation of coconut paratha
To make coconut paratha, first grate coconut. Now mix refined flour, semolina and sugar powder in a big pot. Gradually add ghee to it and start kneading with the help of hands. You have to prepare the dough by mixing maida and ghee well and add a spoonful of baking powder along with it. Add a pinch of salt to the refined flour. Keep in mind that you do not have to add water to maida, instead add milk and start making dough. Now add sugar and cardamom powder to the grated coconut and mix it well. You can also add cashew or almond paste to make coconut tasty. You can also mix fennel powder with it.
Now the flour is ready. Take two of his rotis, one big and one slightly smaller. By doing this your stuffing will not come out and the paratha will become stuffed. Put about two teaspoons of coconut stuffing on the big rolled bread and place small roti on it. Now connect both of them to the side and close with the help of a spoon. Doing this will not break your paratha and it will be tasty. Now heat the griddle and start baking it with the paratha on it. When you roast coconut paratha, apply ghee on it, because ghee will make the taste of coconut even more tasty. After baking the paratha from both the sides, your breakfast is ready. You can serve it by grinding it with tea, milk or sweet curd.
