Rekha Arya, who was independent minister of state in the Trivandra cabinet, arrived to take oath in the Tirath cabinet in traditional costumes. She said that she had worked with devotion in the Trivandra cabinet as well and in the Tirath cabinet, she would fulfill the responsibility of independent charge of the Minister of State with complete sincerity.

Swami Yatishwaranand has also joined the Tirath cabinet as an independent minister of state. The stature of MLA Ganesh Joshi from Mussoorie has been increased.
