Ingredients for making Mangodi Kadhi
Gram flour – 1 cup
Mangodi fried – 1 cup
Curd – 2 cups
Oil – 3 tbsp
Asafoetida – 1-2 pinch
Rye- half a teaspoon
Cumin seeds – half a teaspoon
Methi seeds – half a teaspoon
Ginger garlic onion paste
Turmeric powder – half a teaspoon
Red chilli powder – half a teaspoon
Coriander powder 2 teaspoons
Coriander – finely chopped
Salt – as per taste

How to make Mangori Kadhi
To make Kadhi, first sieve the gram flour well. After this, churn the curd in a deep vessel and mix the curd in the gram flour and mix it well, so that the kernels are not left in it. Now take gram flour and curd solution in a deep vessel and add 7-8 cups of water to it. Now put oil in the pan on the heat. When hot, add mustard seeds, cumin, asafoetida and fenugreek to it. After this, add turmeric, coriander, chilli powder and pasta of ginger, garlic, onion. Add the previously fried roasted moong dal mangodis in it and add one and a half cup of water over it and cook it on a low flame till the mangodis become soft.

After this, add gram flour and curd solution prepared for Kadhi and stir continuously till it comes to a boil. Then add salt to it and stir. Reduce the flame and let the kadhi cook for 10 to 15 minutes. Keep stirring the kadhi occasionally with a spoon. When the crust like layer of gram flour starts to appear on the curry, then understand that your Mangori kadhi is ready. Take it out in a serving bowl and eat it with rice or chapati.
