Mumbai. Uttarakhand Chief Minister Tirath Singh Rawat got into controversy within a few days of his swearing-in. He has given such a statement on the dress of women, on which a controversy has arisen. They are facing aggressive reactions on social media. After Natin Navya Naveli Nanda, Amitabh Bachchan’s wife, actress and SP’s Rajya Sabha MP Jaya Bachchan (Jaya Bachchan) has also reacted sharply to his statement.

Jaya has said that it does not suit any Chief Minister to make such a statement. All those sitting in high positions should make a public statement only after thinking first. In today’s era, how do you do such things, you will tell who is cultured and who is not cultured on the basis of clothes. It is a bad mindset against women and encourages committing crimes against them.

Recently, in a ceremony held in Dehradun, Uttarakhand CM Tirath Singh Rawat said that ripped (torn) jeans are making way for the breakdown of the fabric of our society.

Women are very angry at this statement of Tirath Singh. The girls are wearing their torn jeans, taking their photo and sharing it on social media. Jaya’s granddaughter Navya said why people don’t change their mindset before changing clothes. Navya said that I will wear my ripped jeans. Thank you, and I will wear it with pride. It was said by Tirath Singh Rawat

Inaugurating a two-day workshop on drug abuse, Tirath Singh Rawat said on Tuesday that ripped jeans are paving the way for the breakdown of our society. With this, we are giving such examples to children, which leads them to the consumption of narcotics. He even called it ‘Sanskar to Sanskar’.

The Chief Minister said that I was shocked to see a woman running an NGO wearing ripped jeans. He said that if such a woman will meet people in the society to solve the problems of the people in the society, then what message is she giving in the society? It all starts at home. Whatever we do, our children follow it only. If children are taught the right culture at home, then no matter how modern it may be, life can never fail.
