NCB reaches High Court to cancel bail of Riya Chakraborty’s brother Shouvik

The NCB (Narcotics Control Bureau) has filed a petition in the Bombay High Court for cancellation of the bail of Showik Chakraborty.

Mumbai. After Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput, there was a new twist in the case after the drug angle surfaced in the case. The NCB is now investigating the case. Both were sent to judicial custody by the NCB after the names of Riya Chakraborty (Rhea Chakraborty) and her brother Shouvik Chakraborty (Showik Chakraborty) surfaced in the case. Riya got bail from the Bombay High Court, while her brother took bail from the Special Court. Now NCB has become active again in this matter. The NCB has now reached the High Court’s door to cancel Shouvik’s bail.

The NCB has filed a petition in the Bombay High Court for cancellation of the bail of Shouvik Chakraborty. According to a report by NDTV, the petition states that Shouvik was in contact with both of them with whom drugs have been compromised. Now the hearing on this petition will be held on 30 March.

At the same time, after this, people have started raising the demand for Riya’s arrest once on social media. In this case, people like Suryadeep Malhotra, Zaid Vilatra and Abdul Basit Parihar were arrested by the NCB. Let us tell you that Suryadeep is a childhood friend of Shauvik Chakraborty and Riya Chakraborty was in a relationship with Sushant for almost a year. After Sushant’s death, his father had also filed a case of abetment to suicide and cheating against Riya.

NCB has recently filed a charge sheet of 12 thousand pages, in which Riya Chakraborty is also named. The central agency in its charge sheet has accused Riya Chakraborty and 32 other persons of illegal trafficking crime. It comes under Section 27A of the NDPS Act and has a provision of a minimum jail term of 10 years and maximum of 20 years.
