KFC India Managing Director Sameer Menon said that gender diversity has developed very organically. In five or six years between 2013-14 and Pre-Kovid our restaurant has grown from 7-8 per cent to 30 per cent, including team members and restaurant leaders. He said that the target is to increase it to 40 percent by 2024.

Carrying forward KFC’s global diversity and inclusion agenda, KFC India said it aims to double the number of female employees in its restaurants by 2024. Menon said, “We have about 2,500 women in the restaurant. Our intention is to double the number of women in our restaurant and bring it up to 5,000 in at least the next three-four years. ”
