Deal between CPIL and GAIL regarding dealership
There is an agreement between GAIL and CPIL to set up 100 CNG stations in Bangalore. CPIL chairman and managing director Nitin Khara signed the agreement. According to the company’s statement, under this agreement, CPIL will set up 100 CNG stations in Bangalore and will operate the associated facilities of GAIL Gas. Under this agreement, 100 CNG will be installed in the next three years. The new Scene stations will be installed at major LPG retail centers in major areas of the city or CPIL. Currently, GAIL Gas has installed 55 CNG stations in the city. The price of CNG here in Bangalore is Rs 51.50 per kg.

GAIL Gas is a city gas distribution subsidiary of the state-owned GAIL India Limited. It is implementing the city gas network in 52 cities and towns across the country. The company has connected more than 6.10 lakh households with piping cooking gas and operates around 190 CNG stations. CPIL is a private gas retailer. And there are 209 auto LPG distribution stations in 22 states.
