Ingredients for making sugar cane:
Refined flour – 2 cups
Poppy seeds – 1 tbsp
For Frying – Refined Oil
Ghee – 50 grams
Cream – 25 gms (1/4 cup)
Powdered sugar – 50 – 60 grams (1/3 cup)
Milk – 1/4 cup
Method of preparation of sweet potato:
To make the sweet potato, first sieve the maida in a vessel with a sieve. Add ghee, sugar and cream to it and mix it well.
With the help of milk, knead tight dough. Add poppy seeds and mix in the flour. Keep the dough for 20 minutes to set.
Make 2 dough balls from the dough. Half a cm from the dough. Roll out the thickness, cut the sugars with the help of a knife.
Put the pan on the gas and heat the oil, put the chopped sugarcane in it, on medium and low heat, flip it over and fry until it turns brown.
Remove the sweet potato from the pan and keep it on a plate.
