New record made under ‘Aapke Dwar Ayushman’ campaign, 9.42 lakh people got Ayushman card on 25 March

Under the ‘Aapke Dwar Ayushman’ campaign (Aapke Dwar Ayushman), the beneficiaries living in rural and remote parts have to tell about the benefits of the scheme as well as motivate them to get an Ayushman card.

new Delhi. Under the Ayushman Bharat Yojana (Ayushman Bharat Yojana), the central government is running the ‘Aapke Dwar Ayushman’ campaign (Aapke Dwar Ayushman). Under this campaign, maximum 9.42 lakh Ayushman beneficiaries were verified in a single day. The day of March 25 (AB PM-JAY) became historic when the verification of the highest number of Ayushman beneficiaries in one day was recorded by the NHA IT system.

Free treatment of Rs 5 lakh per year to each beneficiary family
A beneficiary awareness campaign is being run from 1 February under the ‘Aapke Dwar Ayushman’ campaign. For the first time in the history of Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana, more than 9.42 lakh Ayushman beneficiaries have verified themselves. It is to be noted that under this scheme, every beneficiary family has the right to receive free treatment of Rs 5 lakh per year.

More than 6 lakh beneficiaries have verified themselves in ChhattisgarhIn the last 24 hours (25 March), more than 6 lakh beneficiaries in Chhattisgarh alone verified themselves under ‘Aapke Dwar Ayushman’ campaign, while in Madhya Pradesh, 1,23,488 beneficiaries got themselves verified. Similarly, 80,337 in Uttar Pradesh, 1,23,488 in Madhya Pradesh, 38,488 in Punjab, 7,460 in Uttarakhand, 8,247 in Haryana and 16,070 beneficiaries in Bihar have verified themselves.

‘Aapke dwar ayushman’ campaign is being run from 1st February
It is worth mentioning that ‘Aapke Dwar Ayushman’ campaign was started from 1st February, 2021 to make the beneficiaries aware about AB PM-Jai. Under this campaign, beneficiaries living in rural and remote parts have to be informed about the benefits of the scheme as well as to motivate them to get the Ayushman card. Currently, this campaign is being carried out in Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, Uttarakhand and other union territories. After successful verification of the beneficiary, the process of issuing Ayushman card to the beneficiary begins. Beneficiaries can get their Ayushman card free from respective CSC center and UTIITSL center.
