FICCI appeals to the government, vaccination should be started for people between 18-45 years old

FICCI President Uday Shankar said in a letter to Union Health and Family Welfare Minister Harsh Vardhan, “Right now we are examining 11 lakh samples every day. In January, we were doing 1.5 million tests every day. In addition, we can investigate and increase the infection. 2,440 labs are in operation for Kovid-19 test in the country. More than 1,200 of these labs are from the private sector. ”

Government should take help of private sectorShankar said that states can be advised to use private sector facilities to achieve the desired testing capacity. Shankar has urged the government to open vaccination for the age group of 18 to 45 as well. He said that due to this age group, the infection is spreading fast.

He said, “There is no shortage of vaccines in the country. Also, vaccination can be accelerated with the help of private sector. In such a situation, vaccination should be started for this age group as well. Vaccination to this age group will help to prevent the spread of infection.
