Haridwar Kumbh Mela 2021: Tirath Singh Rawat government has said in its application that crowds of devotees are coming from outside in Haridwar and it is not possible to do RTPCR test as its report comes a few days later.

Nainital In Haridwar Kumbh, the government has raised its hands to obey the order of the High Court regarding the corona test and perform 50 thousand tests of devotion daily. The government has filed an application in the High Court demanding that the order of March 31 be changed in which 50 thousand corona tests of the Kumbh region are to be done. In this application given by Secretary Health Amit Negi, it has been said that the government is following the central government’s SOP and is testing the devotees with Kovid symptoms.

It has been said in the application that the crowd of devotees is coming from outside in Haridwar and it is not possible to do the RTPCR test because its report comes after a few days and the local people are being tested along the temple-ghats. The government has said in its letter that 11 thousand 15 thousand tests have been conducted on Mauni Amavasya, 20596 on February Basant Panchami, 29663 on February 26, 39 thousand tests on March 11, Shivratri. The government has a capacity of 25 thousand tests. The court has demanded that 50 thousand tests be exempted.

Although the hearing of this case was to be held on April 15, but due to the closure of the court, the hearing will be held next week. Let us tell you that on 31 March, the High Court had ordered the government to investigate the corona of devotees coming to Kumbh. Although the government did an investigation, but the court order could not be complied with.
