Ingredients for making sago vada
Sago – 1/2 cup
Boiled Potatoes – 4
Peanuts – 1/2 cup (coarsely ground)
Coriander – 2-3 tbsp (finely chopped)
Black pepper – 1/4 teaspoon (coarsely ground)
Green chili – 2 (finely chopped)
Ghee – 4 tbsp
Rock salt – as per taste
Method of preparation of sago vada
To make sago vada, first of all wash the sago after cleaning it and soak it in about one and a half cup of clean water and keep it for 2 hours to flourish. After 2 hours remove the extra water from the sago and throw it away. After this, peel the potatoes and add them with sago, mash them well and add rock salt, black pepper powder, green chilli and groundnut coarsely ground. Mix them all well. Take your mixture to make sago vada.
Now grease the palm with some oil and make a circular mixture with the mixture of vada and then give it a slightly flattened shape with the palm. Keep these vadas on a plate for a long time. Offer ghee in a flat bottomed pan. After a while, bake the vadas one by one for 4 to 5 minutes. Bake until both the thirfs are golden brown. Take your sago vada ready.
