Haridwar. The corona in Mahakumbh Haridwar has been stirred up after the death of Mahamandaleshwar, who was infected. According to information, Mahamandaleshwar Kapil Dev of Nirvani Arena, Chitrakoot, was undergoing treatment for Kovid-19 in a private hospital in Dehradun 3 days ago, he died due to increased infection of Kovid in his lungs. So far more than 20 saints from Mahakumbh and 1700 people within 5 days have come to report Kovid positive. Akhand Parishad President Mahant Narendra Giri is also Kovid-19 infected. He is undergoing treatment at AIIMS Rishikesh.

At the same time, the state of Kovid-19 infection in Uttarakhand is constantly deepening. In the last 24 hours, two thousand new cases of Kovid-19 infection have been reported in Uttarakhand, while 13 people have died. According to media reports, from April 10 to 14, reports of 1,700 people from Kovid-19 in Haridwar Kumbh Mela area have come positive. One of the world’s largest religious ceremonies is contributing to a rapid increase in cases of coronovirus.

2,36,751 corona tests were conducted in five days at the fair venue, out of which 1,701 have been found infected with coronavirus. Haridwar Chief Medical Officer Shambhu Kumar Jha said on Thursday that both the RT-PCR and Rapid Antigen Test contained test reports of devotees and sadhus in various akharas across the entire fair area spanning from Haridwar to Devprayag over a period of five days.

So far, the total number of positive cases in Uttarakhand has crossed one lakh 14 thousand, so the death toll has also reached around 28 hundred. The situation in hospitals is getting out of control even after the large-scale cases. Beds are full in most private hospitals. So government hospitals have started to pant. DG Health Dr Trupti Bahuguna says that once again the Dedicated Hospital is being activated. The maximum number of cases are coming from four districts Dehradun, Haridwar, Nainital and Udham Singh Nagar. The region of the capital Dehradun remains the most hotspot. On Wednesday, 796 new cases were reported from Dehradun alone. 525 new cases came from Haridwar.
