On the second day of Baisakhi, the Jakh Mela is held at Jakhadhar, 5 kilometers from Guptkashi. The villagers of Devshahal, Narayankoti, Kotheda attend the Jakh Mela. Apart from this, many villages including Rudrapur, Bansu, Dewar, Sankari, Hyun, Nala, Guptkashi, Gadhatra, Semi, Bhainsari help to make the village fair successful. Two days before the fair starts, devotees of Kotheda and Narayankoti go barefoot in the forest and collect sticks and bring them to the Jakh temple. A grand fire pit is prepared in the Jakha temple with tons of wood.
