In fact, the government plans to double the production of Remdesivir injection useful in the treatment of corona, to 3 lakh vials daily in the next 15 days.

He said, “We are trying to increase the production of Remadecivir injection. At the same time, it is also our attempt to reduce its price. We are currently producing 1.5 lakh vials of injection. In the next 15 days, production will be 3 lakh vials daily. ”

Remedesivir is being produced in 20 plants of the countryThe minister said that the government has approved 20 plants for the production of antiviral drugs. He said that Remedesivir is currently being produced in 20 plants in the country. Mandavia said, “In the next few days, we are trying to produce maximum production of Remedisvir. Pharmaceutical companies have also reduced the retail price of this drug and this will benefit the patients.

Central government reduced remdesivir prices by 50 percent
It is noteworthy that the National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority on Saturday said that Cadila Healthcare, Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories and Cipla have reduced the prices of their brand-name Remedisivir Injection (100mg / vial).
