Mumbai. The director duo Nadeem-Shravan’s composer Shravan Rathod has died due to complications related to Kovid-19. Rathod’s elder son Sanjeev Rathod told that he and his mother Vimala Devi are suffering from Kovid-19 and are admitted in the hospital.

Sanjeev Rathod said, ‘My mother and I are infected with Kovid-19 and are admitted to Seven Hills Hospital in Andheri East for treatment. I have mild symptoms of infection. This is my second day in the hospital. According to the etimes report, Shravan’s wife and elder son were unable to pay their last darshan before his last rites. Both are infected with the virus and admitted to the hospital.

Sanjeev said, ‘Father was admitted last week after showing signs of infection … He went to Kumbh Mela. But I cannot say that he came in contact with this virus right there. I do not know how this happened or where they got this infection. One way of looking at it can also be that our souls get peace with God after death, but someone of this age traveled to a holy place and then surrendered to God.

Rathore was admitted to SL Raheja Hospital in ‘critical’ condition after suffering from Kovid-19 and died on Thursday. Musicians were under observation in the hospital for a few days. Nadeem-Shravan was one of the most popular composers in the 90s, who composed music for films like ‘Aashiqui’ (1990), ‘Saajan’ (1991), Shah Rukh Khan starrer ‘Pardes’ and Aamir Khan starrer ‘Raja Hindustani’. People still like to listen to the songs of these films. The couple gave music for David Dhawan’s film ‘Don’t Disturb’ in 2009, after splitting in the mid-2000s.
