Ingredients for making Mango cloves:
15 raw mangoes
1 cup jaggery
2 tablespoons oil
1 teaspoon cumin seeds
1 tsp fenugreek seeds-
1 tsp fennel seeds
Salt to taste
Black salt to taste
1 teaspoon turmeric powder
1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder
1/2 teaspoon garam masala
Method of making mango cloves
– Wash the mango thoroughly and peel it when it dries. Cut the pulp into small pieces and remove the kernels. Now put oil in the pan and heat it. When the oil is hot, add cumin seeds, fenugreek seeds and fennel and fry it a little.
After this, add turmeric powder to it and fry it a little, add mango pieces to it and then add 1 cup of water and mix it. After this, add plain salt, black salt and red chili powder and mix.
Cover the mango pieces and let it cook for 4 to 5 minutes and check it. If raw, let them boil for 3 more minutes. Now the mango pieces are soft and ready.
Add finely chopped jaggery and garam masala to the mango pieces and mix until it is mixed. Cook the cloves until the jaggery dissolves completely. When the jaggery dissolves completely, cook it a little more and thicken it.
– Now your clove is ready. Turn off the gas and take out the cloves in a bowl. It can be eaten in the refrigerator for up to 15 days.
