New Delhi: Private sector bank Axis Bank said on Thursday that its board of directors has approved the re-appointment of Amitabh Chaudhary as managing director and CEO of the bank for three years, his appointment will be effective from January 1, 2022. Axis Bank said in a regulatory notice that the board of directors of the bank considered and approved the proposal to appoint Amitabh Chaudhary as the managing director and CEO of the bank for a further period of three years. His current term ends on 31 December 2021.
