Saint Ajay Giri and Somnath Giri of Niranjani Akhara died in different hospitals due to corona infection. It is said that 5 saints of Niranjani Arena have died so far from Corona.

Haridwar. The last royal bath of Haridwar Mahakumbh took place in Haridwar on Tuesday i.e. 27 April on the occasion of Chaitra Purnima. After this, Kumbh was abolished before time. But now after this the corona havoc has started in the Niranjani arena. Today on Friday, two saints of Niranjani Akhara died. One saint died in AIIMS Rishikesh due to Corona infection while the other saint died in Baba Barfani Hospital. Total 5 saints died It is said that Saint Ajay Giri (55) of Niranjani Akhara had become corona infected. He was admitted to AIIMS Rishikesh for treatment. But his condition continued to fall and finally he died on Friday. In the same way, Saint Somnath Giri of Niranjani Akhara was also found to be Corona positive. He was admitted to Baba Barfani Hospital. But they too could not be saved. Sources reveal that even yesterday a great saint of this arena died. It is reported that so far five saints of Niranjani Arena have died due to corona infection. Char Dham Yatra postponedMeanwhile, in view of the increasing pace of Corona infection in Uttarakhand yesterday, Chief Minister Tirath Singh Rawat announced the postponement of Chardham Yatra. He said that the doors will open and there will be only pooja-archana. He clearly said that in the current situation of corona infection, traveling is not possible. Remind you that the Char Dham Yatra was to begin with the opening of the Yamunotri temple on 14 May. Last year too, the Uttarakhand government had halted the yatra in May due to the epidemic. After this, the state government started the Char Dham Yatra for the devotees from 1 July.
