The company said that Rahul Bajaj has stepped down as non-executive director and chairman of Bajaj Auto from April 30, 2021. Neeraj Bajaj will take over as the chairman of Bajaj Auto from 1 May.

The company said that Rahul Bajaj has stepped down as non-executive director and chairman of Bajaj Auto from April 30, 2021. Rahul Bajaj will step down from the post of April 30 i.e. from today onwards and after that from May 1, he will take over the post of Chairman Emirates. Neeraj Bajaj will take over as the chairman of Bajaj Auto from 1 May. Why did Rahul Bajaj leave the post? According to the company’s statement, 82-year-old Rahul Bajaj has decided to leave the post citing age. He will now be in the role of a consultant in the company and his experience will benefit the company. The company’s board has approved this decision. It is worth noting that the Bajaj Group is almost 95 years old and Rahul Bajaj himself has turned 82 years old. He heads the Bajaj Group. His net worth is around $ 6.5 billion. He is the president of Bachhraj & Company (Jamnalal Sons) and several Bajaj subsidiaries. The Bajaj Group manages around 40 charitable trusts in areas such as education and healthcare, and Neeraj Bajaj has been managing the functioning of these trusts.
