Good news for the economy! GST Collection crosses 1 lakh crore rupees for the seventh consecutive month

New Delhi. There are signs of the economy coming back on track at a rapid pace. For the last seven months, the GST Collection (GST Collection) is going to be more than 1 lakh crore rupees. The economic activity slowed down during the Corona period has started going fast. The record GST collection has given a clear message that the country’s economy is not only back on track but is ready to run. As a result, in the month of April too, the GST collection was a record 1 lakh 41 thousand 3 hundred 84 crores. According to the latest data released by the central government, out of the GST collection of Rs 1,41,384 crore in April 2021, CGST was collected Rs 27,837 crore, SGST Rs 35,621 crore and IGST Rs 68,481 crore. Of the Rs 68,481 crore IGST, Rs 29,599 crore was collected from imported goods. At the same time, the government has also collected a cess of Rs 9,445 crore. 935 crores of which was a cess collected from imported goods.

14% higher GST collection than in March 2021In the first 7 months of the financial year 2020-21, the GST collection was significantly reduced. In comparison to March 2021, GST revenue registered a growth of 14 per cent in April 2021. The government settled Rs 22,756 crore in SGST and Rs 29,185 crore in CGST from IGST. Apart from this, the government also made IGST ad hoc settlement of Rs 57,022 crore while SGST stood at Rs 58,377 crore. Month 2019 (Rs.
