Railways have started some special trains for UP and Bihar to reduce congestion.
Indian Railways has announced to run some special trains to reduce the congestion due to passengers arriving at the stations with the intention of returning home soon due to new cases of rapidly growing corona virus. Western Railways said that it has been decided to increase the frequency of some special trains.
For the convenience of passengers, trips of 20 Special Trains are being extended.

Railways have said that railway passengers will have to follow the Corona Protocol during the journey. It includes all the rules like social distancing, wearing face mask.

Special trains will also run between Mumbai Central-Gorakhpur, Bandra-Ghazipur-Valsad and Surat-Bhagalpur-Ratlam. Booking for these trains will be on May 9, May 11 and May 12.
