‘Covaxin’ will be supplied rapidly across the country
Direct supply of Kovid-19 vaccine ‘Covaxin’ has started from May 1 to 14 states including Delhi and Maharashtra.
New Delhi: According to Suchitra Ila, joint managing director of Bharat Biotech, the company has started direct supply of Kovid-19 vaccine ‘Kovaxine’ to 14 states including Delhi and Maharashtra from May 1. The Hyderabad-based company has started supplying Kovid-19 vaccine as per the allocation made by the central government. Ila tweeted that, “Bharat Biotech confirms the direct supply of cocaine to these state governments based on the allocation made by the Government of India from May 1, 2021. Supply in these statesThe company is currently supplying vaccines to Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Jammu and Kashmir, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal. Company reduced prices Let us tell you that on April 29, the company had reduced the price of Covaxin to Rs 400 per dose for the states. Earlier this price was fixed at Rs 600 per dose. Actually, after much criticism about the vaccine price, the company had reduced the prices. Bharat Biotech is supplying covaxine to the Government of India at the rate of Rs. 150 per dose.
