Mumbai . The market closed on May 7 for the third consecutive session with more than half a percent gain. Almost all sectoral think tanks along with state-owned banks closed in the lead. Nifty metal gained the most with a gain of 4.73 percent. The BSE Sensex gained 256.71 points to 49,206.47 points, while the Nifty 50 gained 98.40 points to open at 14,823.20. Caution Tips Nagaraj Shetty, technical research analyst at HDFC Securities, told Money Control that the minor upper and lower shadows went on the daily chart by the small positive candle. Technically, this pattern may mean a doozy Doji or a high wave-type candle pattern (not a classical one) with an edge from the lower level. Technically, this indicates caution to bulls at a higher level. The subsequent session may result in a negative inverted pattern with a negative close. This means that depending on this pattern in the market, there may be an upward trend at the level of 14,863. However, if seen overall, the rebound action of the last three seasons is not a good sign to maintain a strong momentum. Key support and resistance levels on Nifty According to the Pivot chart, the support level of the Nifty may remain at 14,771.47 for today, followed by 14,719. If the index goes up then you can see the key resistance levels 14,868.97 and 14,914.73. Nifty Bank Nifty Bank was up 76.70 points at 32,904.50 on May 7. According to Pivort Charch, Nifty Bank can give significant support to the index. It can remain at 32,697.56 and thereafter at 32,490.
