New Delhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi today released the eighth installment of the Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-Kisan) scheme on 14 May. Under this, more than Rs 20,000 crore has been deposited in the accounts of more than 9.5 crore beneficiary farmer families. Under this scheme, 6,000 rupees per year are given by the government to the beneficiary farmer families. This money is given over a period of four months in three equal installments in a year. Many other schemes are associated with this ambitious scheme of the Central Government. These schemes can also be availed with them. Kisan Mandhan YojanaDue to linking this scheme with PM Kisan Samman Nidhi, farmers get freedom from documentation again. At the time of registration in the Kisan Samman Nidhi, you have to submit the required documents, hence there is no need to re-document the Kisan Manadhan Yojana. For this, the farmer will have to make a monthly contribution ranging from 55 to 200 rupees. So far, 21,27,759 farmers have registered under this scheme.
Kisan Credit Card (KCC) Scheme To speed up the process of making credit cards for farmers, the Kisan Credit Card Scheme has been added with the PM-Kisan Yojana. Due to this, it is easy to create KCC for the farmers whose bank account has an installment of Rs 6,000. Let us tell you that under the KCC scheme, farmers get a loan of up to Rs 1.60 lakh at the rate of 4%. So far, loans worth Rs 1,63,627 crore have been given to 1.82 crore farmers.
