According to media reports, the company can launch its new car in the global market by July 2022. The same can launch this car in the Indian market in late 2022. However, it has not yet been officially announced by the company. The current Swift was launched by the company in 2017, the current generation car is almost 4 years old. The company is not making any changes in the engine of this new generation car, as before, the car will have a 1.2 liter K12 dualjet petrol engine, the company has updated this engine in this car this year. This engine produces 89 Nm of torque of 113 Nm. Apart from this, the dimensions of the car are also likely to change slightly. Currently, this car starts at Rs 5.73 lakh (ex-showroom) in India. The company will install a 48-volt setup instead of the 12-volt setup of the current car. This will improve both the mileage and performance of the car.
