NTPC placed purchase order of 11 Oxygen plants NHPC Badshah Khan District Hospital, Faridabad is setting up a 1000 lpm capacity oxygen production plant with cylinder filling facility. Its procurement process has started. The plant will be set up in eight weeks. NTPC has ordered 11 oxygen plants for the National Capital Region. Apart from this, two big plants will also be installed, where small cylinders will have the facility to fill oxygen. NTPC is installing 8 oxygen plants in the country. REC, under the Ministry of Power, has also given financial assistance of Rs 2.21 crore to set up a 1700 liter per minute oxygen production plant and 150 kV generator plant at Dalvi Hospital in Pune. The REC Foundation has helped Pandit Ram Sumer Shukla Smriti Government Medical School to become Kovid-19 treatment center in Udham Singh Nagar, Uttarakhand.
