Canara Bank has announced three loan schemes for its customers to provide relief amid the Corona epidemic.

New Delhi. Canara Bank has announced three loan schemes as part of the fight against the epidemic during the Corona period. Under this, the bank will offer healthcare credit, business and personal loans to the people. According to Canara Bank, the tenure of this loan given at a concessional interest rate will be 10 years and the moratorium can be availed for up to 18 months. Know about these schemes…

1. Canara Suraksha personal loan scheme

Under this scheme, a loan will be given if the money is needed after getting treatment for Kovid-19 or after being discharged from the hospital. The bank is offering a personal loan of Rs 25,000 to Rs 5 lakh in this. There will be a moratorium of 6 months in this scheme. This scheme will be valid till 30 September 2021 with zero processing fee.

Under this scheme, the bank will provide loans ranging from ₹10 lakh to ₹50 crore to registered hospitals, nursing homes, medical practitioners, diagnostic centers, pathology labs and all other units engaged in servicing healthcare infrastructure. The public lender said the tenure of the loan to be given at a concessional rate of interest would be 10 years with a moratorium of up to 18 months.

3. Canara Jeevanrekha healthcare business loan

In this, loans up to ₹ 2 crore will be given at a concessional rate of interest for the manufacture and supply of health care products to Canara Bank registered hospitals and nursing homes or other manufacturers and suppliers. The bank said that there will be no processing fee for this loan. There will be no collateral security for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). The lenders will be covered under the Credit Guarantee Fund Trust for Micro and Small Enterprises (CGTMSE) and the bank will bear the guarantee premium. Canara Jeevanrekha loan schemes will be valid till March 31, 2022.
