Chief Minister Tirath Singh Rawat while addressing the workers at PWD Guest House said that our government has not allowed any shortage of ration in the entire state. During this, he said that people did not get sugar after independence, our government has made a provision to give 2 kg of sugar to all card holders. Whereas earlier also 800 grams of sugar was available per unit, but the Chief Minister may have forgotten that after independence, for many years, the government has given sugar to every person through government cheap galley shops.

Chief Minister Tirath Singh Rawat said that last time nine months foodgrain quota was given in Kovid. This time quota of three months has been given. Last time food grains were available for seven and a half kilos. This time we made 20 kilos. This needs to be told.
