New Delhi. Due to good global cues, the domestic stock market rose today. The Sensex and Nifty touched the record levels of 52,626.64 and 15,835.55 on the last trading day of the week. The BSE Sensex Sensex closed at 52,474.76 with a gain of 174.29 points, or 0.33 per cent. At the same time, NSE Nifty closed at 15,799.35 with a gain of 61.60 points or 0.39%. Out of 50 Nifty stocks, 23 stocks rose. 15 out of 30 Sensex stocks gained.
The rise in these stocks
Dr. Reddy’s stock gained 3.03% today on BSE. After this, the shares of Power Grid, TCS, Infosys, HCL Tech, Reliance, Tech Mahindra, Sun Pharma, Bajaj Finance, Maruti, HDFC Bank, Asian Paints, NTPC, M&M, HDFC Bank closed on the gains.

At the same time, the biggest fall was seen in the stock of LT. Apart from this, IndusInd Bank, Bajaj Finserv, Bharti Airtel, ICICI Bank, Axis Bank, ITC, Ultra Tech Cement, SBI, Hindustan Unilever, Titan, Kotak Bank, ONGC, Bajaj Auto and Nestle India fell.
Today’s Top 5 Losers and Gainers
Shares of Tata steel, Jsw steel, Coal India, Dr Reddy and Hindalco were among the biggest gainers on NSE today. On the other hand, shares of Axis Bank, Divis Lab, IndusInd Bank, LT and Bajaj Finserv were in the losers today.
Trading in shares of 3,326 companies
In the last session of the week on BSE, shares of about 3,326 companies were traded. Out of these, the shares of 1,777 companies closed on the rise, while the shares of 1,409 companies saw a decline. Today’s total market cap stood at Rs 2 crore 31 lakh.
