TVS Apache RTR 160 will be available in two variants – Two-wheeler manufacturer TVS Motor launched the upgraded 2021 edition of its bike Apache RTR 160 4V, which is very much liked among the youth, in March. Customers can buy this bike in two variants Disc Break Version and Drum Break Version. The disc brake version of this upgraded model of TVS Apache has an ex-showroom price of Rs 1,10,320 in Delhi. At the same time, the price of drum brake variant has been kept at Rs 1,07,270.

Upgraded edition is a bit lighter than before – The company claims that the upgraded version of the Apache RTR 160 4V is the most powerful in its class. The company has made the upgraded version lighter than before. According to the company, its weight is 2 kg less than the earlier edition. The disc variant weighs 147 kg and the drum variant weighs 145 kg. The company said that a new dual tone seat has been given in the 2021 edition of the bike. It is based on carbon fiber pattern. Also, the LED headlamp is in claw-styled position. This increases the visibility area.

The new variant has 5 speed super slick gearbox – TVS Motor’s Head (Marketing) Premium Motorcycles Meghashyam Dighole said that the new 2021 TVS Apache RTR 160 4V will provide a better experience for bikers with increased power to weight ratio (0.08 kW/kg) and torque. For power, there is a 159.7 cc single cylinder, which can give a maximum power of 17.63PS. Its maximum power is 12.97 kW (17.63 PS @ 9250 rpm) at 9250rpm. Apart from this, the maximum torque is 14.73 Nm @ 7250 rpm. The upgraded version has a 5-speed super slick gear box. At the same time, the new variant also gets a racing double-barrel exhaust with racing tyres. Its fuel tank capacity is 12 liters.
