New Delhi. Debt-ridden airline company Air India is now planning to sell its flats and other properties (this includes residential, commercial and plots) in many cities of the country to raise money. Air India has planned to raise Rs 250-300 crore through this. This property is located in the residential areas of 10 major cities of the country. According to an advertisement published in national newspapers on June 18, it will conduct an e-bidding for the same. It will start from July 8, 2021 and will close on July 9, 2021.

13.3 lakhs will be the initial bid

According to the news of Money Control, the initial bid for these units will start from Rs 13.3 lakh and this maximum bid is up to Rs 150 crore. There are many properties in the existing auction lot, which have been put up for sale several times in the past.

According to the notice issued by Air India, there is one residential plot and flat in Mumbai, five flats in New Delhi, one residential plot in Bangalore and four flats in Kolkata. The company will sell all these assets. Similarly, there is a booking office and staff quarters in Aurangabad, 6 flats in Nashik, booking office in Nagpur, airline house and one residential plot in Bhuj and one residential plot in Thiruvananthapuram and two flats in Mangaluru.

Up to 10 percent discount

Air India has reduced the reserve price in some of these properties, especially in Tier 1 cities, to attract buyers. That is, in Tier 1 cities, the airline company will give a special discount on buying property. A senior Air India official, requesting anonymity, said. According to the official, about 10 percent reduction in these properties has been done.
