Nurul learned car repair from his father, who was also a car mechanic. He had a garage in Nagaland’s Dimapur city, where he lived for nearly 20 years. Nurul while talking to Hindustan Times said that he loves Hollywood’s Fast & Furious films and always wanted to drive a sports car like Ferrari or Lamborghini.

Due to last year’s lockdown, his work stopped completely and he was forced to sit at home. That’s when he thought of making his own Lamborghini-like vehicle and started working on it. He said that after buying a second hand Maruti Swift, he started making parts of a vehicle that looked like Lamborghini after watching YouTube videos.
Nurul said, ‘…but I did not know that making this would be so expensive. From buying the engine and raw material to giving it a final look, the total cost was around ₹6,20,000. I don’t know whether it is legal to do such fake models or not. I want to drive the car all over the state and I hope that the police will not arrest me and confiscate my car.

He said that he is ready to sell the car, but only to those who are as passionate about it as him. He said, ‘I am ready to sell this car, but the buyer should be someone who understands the value of this model. Only a sports lover can understand my passion. Nurul now wants to make similar Ferrari models as well. He said, ‘I am planning to make a model of Ferrari soon too, but it all depends on my Lamborghini experience. If the local administration allows me to ride this car, then I will make more models like this.’
