According to the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), if you become a victim of an illegal electronic transaction, then your responsibility can also be void. But, this will happen only if you inform your bank about this immediately.
Report within 72 hours
If you become a victim of cyber fraud and money goes from your account, then you have to complain about it within three days.
Along with this, you can also complain about this at https://www.cybercrime.gov.in/ or at the local police station.

refund within 10 days
If you do this then you will not have to bear any kind of loss and you can get the refund within 10 days.
If you become a victim of such online financial fraud, then there is no need to remain silent. You should give this information in writing to the bank along with the relevant information and file a complaint.
A National Helpline 155260 has also been launched to protect you from financial loss caused by Cyber Fraud. At present, this service is available only in 7 states like Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Telangana, Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh.
It will soon be launched in other states and union territories as well.
According to a report, between April 2009 and September 2019, 1.17 lakh people have suffered an injury of Rs 615.39 crore through online banking frauds.
