New Delhi: On the first trading day of the week, there has been a good recovery from the lower level in the stock market. Both Sensex and Nifty indices closed with gains. The Sensex (BSE Sensex) closed at 52,574.46 with a gain of 230.01 points, or 0.44 per cent. At the same time, Nifty has closed at 15,746.50 with a strength of 63.15 points or 0.40 percent. In today’s business, there was a great rise in PSU Bank shares. Also, selling was seen in IT, tech and auto sectors.
In the top 30 stocks of Sensex, 8 stocks have seen selling today. Apart from this, 22 stocks have closed in the green mark. After today’s business, NTPC has been in the list of top gainers with a gain of 4 percent. Also Titan, SBI, IndusInd Bank, Tata Steel, HDFC, Bajaj Finance, HUL, Kotak Bank, Power Grid, Asian Paints, HDFC bank, Reliance, HCL Tech, Sun Pharma, Bajaj Finance, Axis Bank, Dr Reddy, Bajaj Auto Buying has been seen in the shares of ICICI Bank and ITC.

Apart from this, shares of Tech Mahindra, Maruti, TCS, Infosys, M&M, LT, ITC and Nestle were in the list of sell-off stocks.
Mixed trading in sectoral index
Looking at the sectoral index, today there has been a decline in the IT sector, tech and auto. Apart from this, all have closed with an edge. Bank Nifty, Capital Goods, Consumer Durable, FMCG, Healthcare, Metal, PSU were all seen buying.
The BSE Smallcap index closed at 24854.25 with a gain of 205.42 points. The midcap index closed at the level of 22420.06 with a gain of 181.85 points. Apart from this, the CNX Midcap index closed at the level of 26705.20 with a gain of 208.90 points.
