Mumbai . Sensex crossed the level of 53 thousand today making a record high. The Sensex rose by 454.09 points to reach 53,028.55 in the day’s trading. At the same time, Nifty is trading at 15,885.55 level with a gain of 139.05 points. After touching 53 thousand Sensex, trading is going on at the level of 52900 around 11.30 pm. This is the first time that the Sensex has crossed the level of 53 thousand.
A trading day ago, BSE Sensex and Nifty closed with gains. Today, on June 22, on the Singaporean Exchange, SGX Nifty rose 0.31 percent, according to estimates, today’s trading has started with an increase. Today the Sensex opened at 52,885.04 and reached a record high of 52,957.13 in early trading itself.

buying banking stocksIn today’s business, the market is getting support from buying in Maruti and banking shares. However, a mixed trend in the Asian market is likely to impact domestic indices. Japan’s Nikkei 225 was up 2.53 per cent, Taiwan Weighted 0.91 per cent, South Korea’s Kospi 0.54 per cent and Shanghai Composite up 0.42 per cent, while Hong Kong’s Hang Seng was down 0.29 per cent and Singapore’s Strait Times 0.08 per cent.

Talking about the US market, NASDAQ closed at 14,141.48 with a gain of 0.79 percent in June 21 trading. European markets also closed with gains on the trading day of June 21. The London Stock Exchange-linked FTCE closed up 0.64 per cent, France’s CAC 0.51 per cent and Germany’s DAX 1 per cent higher.

After a weak start on the trading day of June 21, the market had managed to achieve recovery till the end. At the close of trading, the Sensex was up 230.01 points, or 0.44 percent, at 52,574.46 and the Nifty closed at 15,746.50 with a gain of 63.15 points, or 0.40 percent. In the beginning, bank shares looked battered but later there was a spectacular rise in bank shares. Buying was seen in realty, energy, media sectors. On the other hand, there was some profit-booking in IT and Auto stocks.
