At the same time, silver closed at Rs 67,532 per kg. Gold prices fell in the international market today, while silver prices did not change much.

Why did gold fall? HDFC Securities Senior Analyst (Commodities) Tapan Patel said that gold has fallen to a 2-month low today. Gold was under selling pressure due to the strengthening of the dollar. Due to this the price of gold fell in the international market. Its effect has also been seen in the Indian bullion market. On the other hand, Navneet Damani, VP of Commodity Research at Motilal Oswal Financial Services, said that due to the strengthening of the dollar during the last few sessions, gold prices are moving towards $ 1700 an ounce.
