Indian Railways- IRCTC has started the booking of Tejas Express, know when will it run?

New Delhi. Seeing the effect of Corona decreasing, the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has made preparations to run Tejas Express again. Booking for this train has also started from Friday. The train will be run regularly from 7th August next month. Apart from ready-to-eat food in this train, there will also be facilities of tea coffee, so that passengers do not face any problem during the journey.

IRCTC has decided to run private train Tejas on Lucknow route in view of the convenience of the people and the diminishing effect of Corona. Its booking has started from today. Passengers can travel by booking as per their convenience. Soon the decision to run the second Tejas Express Ahmedabad-Mumbai will also be taken soon.

At present, IRCTC is providing readymade food in about 1000 trains, although this number was around 2500 pre Kovid. Slowly this number is being increased. IRCTC is going to start Tejas Express from next month. In this train, ready to eat food will be provided keeping in mind the corona protocol. There will also be facilities for tea coffee. This is a private train and it is being operated by IRCTC itself.
