Looking at himself in the mirror, Dharmendra used to say, ‘Can I become Dilip Kumar’

Mumbai. After the death of Bollywood’s ‘Tragedy King’ Dilip Kumar, Dharmendra is unable to forget his old memories. Dharmendra is very active on social media and is getting emotional again and again after remembering him. Dharmendra recently shared a video and told the fans how he himself used to say, ‘Can I become Dilip Kumar’ while standing in front of the mirror.

Bollywood actor Dharmendra was very close to the ‘Tragedy King’ i.e. Dilip Kumar. He has again shared a video today, in which he has recalled how he became an actor after seeing Dilip sahib and used to question himself whether I would ever be able to become Dilip Kumar.

In the video, Dharmendra is seen saying, ‘Doing a job… commuting on a cycle, seeing a glimpse of yourself in the film posters … Waking up at nights and looking in the mirror, can I become Dilip Kumar?’

While sharing the video, he wrote the caption – ‘Friends, on Dilip sahib’s rukhsati… my… aap ke runde emotion ye… that azim fankar… to that noble soul… is a tribute.. . He is gone… His memories will not go away.’

Let us tell you that the body of Dilip Kumar reached his Pali Hill house, Dharmendra immediately reached his house to have his last darshan and he consoled the unconscious Saira Bano in the memory of Dilip Saheb. Seeing the grief of Saira Banu, Dharmendra himself could not stop his tears and started crying holding Dilip Kumar’s face.
