Bajaj Electric Scooter gets two trims – Offered in Urban and Premium. The lower urban trim has been priced at Rs 1.42 lakh (ex-showroom, Pune), while the premium trim is priced slightly higher at Rs 1.44 lakh (ex-showroom, Pune).

The scooter uses a removable 3kWh IP67 lithium-ion battery pack, along with a 3.8kW motor. The company claims that this battery pack is capable of giving a full charge range of 95km (Eco Mode). The top speed of the scooter is 70 kmph. The scooter can be charged using the under-seat built-in charger that can be connected to a 5A power socket.

The Pune-based two-wheeler maker is expected to start deliveries of its electric scooter Chetak from the third quarter of 2021. The company is aiming to give a new scooter to its customers before the start of the festive season.
Earlier, Bajaj Auto had closed the bookings for Chetak within 48 hours of opening of bookings on April 13 due to high demand. In its annual report for 2020-21, Bajaj Auto said that it “expects to start deliveries of this iconic model during the second quarter of FY 2022”.
